At Accum, we don’t just build B2B & B2C eCommerce tools—we orchestrate digital roadmaps and infrastructure for wholesale/distribution, brands & dealers. From tech engineering breakthroughs to revenue-driving conversations, our day is a blueprint for how modern eCommerce should function in B2B & B2C for Fishing, Outdoors and Sportsman, Hardware and various other industries.
Here’s what a typical day at Accum looks like, built around three key engines: Technology, Marketing & Sales, and Client Success.
From morning to Evening with Accum
9:00 AM – TECH STAND-UP & DEPLOYMENTS
Focus: Engineering, Product, Client Services and Platform Optimization
Every morning kicks off with our Dev. team for engineering and product stand-up. Today’s sprint review is focused on:
- Finalizing multi-warehouse search & product catalog logic for 1 of our distributors
- Debugging & making fixes to a sync issue with 1 of our integrations
- Testing out a beta version of our new Pricing Module in of our Tools.
We’re building tech that adapts to real-world B2B & B2C complexities—bulk upload logic, multi-tiered plans and pricing, dealer fulfillment, and more. The goal? Make it fast. Make it scalable. Making it work for distributors, dealers and brands.
11:00 AM – CLIENT & PARTNER CHECK-INS
Focus: Strategic Key Accounts, Integrations, Development & Marketing
Client success and partnerships are another core part of our day. This morning includes:
- A strategy call with a large distributor partner preparing for 1 of his shows.
- A road map session with our 1 of our dealer clients on categories and marketing plan
- Joint solutions mapping with 1 of our tech partners
Accum isn’t a plug-and-play tool—it’s a tech ecosystem customizing to each client. That means we’re deeply embedded in their tech stack, strategy workflows, and long-term goals.
2:00 PM – SALES, Marketing & CRM Follow ups
Focus: Pipeline, Industry Trends, Client Wins
Afternoons shift to growth. Our sales and growth teams review:
- Deal prospects
- Demo feedback from a potential client struggling with order workflows & product categories/subcategories
- Industry updates on wholesale, distributor, brands and dealer trends and automations
Sales & Marketing at Accum isn’t just about features—it’s about solving long-standing B2B pain points: speed of tools, dashboard and website, optimizing and connecting systems, SEO visibility. Our team works like business consultants.
4:00 PM – PRODUCT + Market Needs SYNC
Focus: Translating Market Needs into Features & Solutions
We close the day with a quick sync between our Sales & Operations manager and the sales & Marketing team. It’s all about knowledge sharing:
- What use cases are emerging in the market?
- Are clients/partners asking for features or solutions we don’t have (yet)?
- What’s working—and what’s just noise?
Today, Accum team adds a “search order ” feature to our sales Rep Tool , based on consistent client/partner feedback from our sales leads.
” Our best features aren’t dreamed up in a vacuum—they’re pulled straight from sales calls and client needs.”
6:00 PM – WRAP-UP & Planning for next day
As we wind down at the office, activity ramps up online & we plan ahead for the next day:
- New orders & tickets keep flowing in
- Sales reps use our tool for CRM & Order writing
- A distributor partner uploads a ticket to update pricing on 1,400 SKUs/UPCs.
Because Accum is always happy to support and scale our clients & partners
What Makes This All Work?
At Accum, we’ve built a culture where tech, sales & marketing, and partnerships aren’t isolated—they feed each other, daily. That’s how we stay ahead of industry needs while keeping our clients competitive in a rapidly shifting landscape.
